Amazon FBA shipments have been much affected by COVID-19. During this special period of time, Amazon may cancel shipment plans any time after the goods are shipped. Or they may lift the restock restriction when the shipments are on the way to 3PL warehouses. Therefore, we received lots of requests to intercept the shipments for rerouting and other services such as storage, labelling and palletization.
The availability and costs of interception and rerouting depends on the shipping methods you choose and the original destination.
To Canada - We are not able to intercept the shipments to Canada once it's sent.
To the US:
Express Air to everywhere - We can try to initiate a re-route request with the carrier, but it will be likely to fail. The recipient can reject the shipment and UPS will then contact the sender to re-route.
Regular Air to everywhere - We can try to initiate a re-route request with the carrier, but it will be likely to fail.
Ocean Regular/Ocean Fast Line to ONT8, LAX9, LGB8, SMF3, LAS1, and FTW1 - We are not able to intercept the shipments to these warehouses as it's a straight-through process from China to the destination. The shipment will be handed over to a truck at the port and sent directly to Amazon together with thousands of other shipments in a container.
Ocean Regular Line to other destinations - The shipments via Ocean Regular Line to the destinations other than those listed above are mostly to be sorted and palletized in our California warehouse first before being delivered to the final destinations. We charge a $200 interception fee, $1/carton labelling fee, $2/carton sorting fee, and the additional delivery fee from our California warehouse to the new destinations. The shipping fee for the old address won't be refunded.
Ocean Fast Line to other destinations - The shipments via Ocean Fast Line to the destinations other than those listed above may or may not be in a direct line.
If it's a direct line, the shipments are sent in a container to UPS or Fedex together with thousands of other shipments. UPS or Fedex will sort the boxes and process the shipments according to the labels we put on the boxes in China. Therefore we won't be able to intercept the shipment in this case.
If it's a non-direct line, we will unload all the boxes in the container in our California warehouse and arrange delivery with UPS and Fedex thereafter. In this case, we are able to intercept the shipment for you and charge a $200 interception fee, $1/carton labelling fee, $2/carton sorting fee, and the additional delivery fee from our California warehouse to the new destinations. The shipping fee for the old address won't be refunded.
Storage at our California warehouse of Canada warehouse is not available.
